The site of this elegant hotel in Belgravia London started out as a humble coffee house 300 years ago. Since then, The Berkely Hotel has morphed into one of the most fashionable accommodations in the city. A mile from Buckingham Palace, it’s also a quick walk to Hyde Park Corner tube station.

Rooms have pale, neutral décor and contemporary designer furnishings. All have marble bathrooms, stocked minibars, free Wi-Fi, and some have balconies. Suites feature sitting areas, and a few have private terraces.

This historic boutique hotel is family-run and comprises two adjoining Georgian townhouses. It’s close to Victoria and Sloane Square tube stations and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace.

Rooms at Lime Tree Hotel feature statement wallpaper, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Some retain original features, such as high ceilings, open fireplaces, and original crown molding. Views are either street or garden.
